These Terms govern the use of the psyground.com platform (the “Platform”). By registering or using the Platform, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Status of the Platform
The Platform is an information intermediary: it provides technical means to post information, find specialists and organize groups and events. The Platform does not provide psychological, medical or other professional services, is not a party to the relationship between a specialist and a user, and is not their representative, agent or guarantor.
2. Specialist responsibility
The specialist is solely and exclusively responsible for their qualifications and right to practice, for the content, quality, safety and outcome of their services, for the information they post, and for payment, cancellation and refund terms. The user decides to engage a specialist at their own risk.
3. No warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy of user-posted information, or availability. The Platform does not guarantee any outcome from using the service or specialists’ services.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is not liable for any direct or indirect damages, lost profits or harm arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform, the actions of specialists or users, the content of posted materials, or service interruptions. The Platform’s aggregate liability, if any, is limited to the amount actually paid by the user to the Platform (or zero, if no such payments were made).
5. Important disclaimer
The Platform and its materials are not medical or psychiatric care and do not replace it. For conditions requiring urgent or medical help, contact the relevant specialists and emergency services.
6. Rules of use
The user provides accurate data, is responsible for keeping their account access safe and for all actions under it, and does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law. The Platform may, at its sole discretion, moderate, restrict, hide or remove any content and accounts, and suspend or terminate access — without prior notice and without stating reasons.
7. Intellectual property
By posting content, the user confirms they hold the necessary rights and grants the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for operating and promoting the service. The Platform’s software, design and materials belong to its owner and may not be used without permission.
8. Payment
Payments for specialists’ services are made directly between the specialist and the user outside the Platform, unless explicitly stated otherwise. The Platform is not responsible for such payments.
9. Account deletion
The user may delete their account with related data at any time in the “Profile” section.
10. Changes to the Terms
The Platform may amend these Terms at any time. The current version is posted on this page; continued use means acceptance of the amended version.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Platform owner’s location, unless mandatory rules of the user’s place of residence provide otherwise. The parties seek to resolve disputes through negotiation (pre-litigation procedure); failing agreement, the dispute is resolved by the competent court at the Platform owner’s location, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.
